Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 2, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Ripple Studios ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Focus Windows desktop application (the "Application") and the Ripple Studios website (the "Website").
Our core philosophy is simple: your detailed activity stays on your device.
2. The Focus Desktop Application
Local Activity Storage
Focus automatically observes active application usage and active browser website usage while running. This detailed activity history is stored strictly locally on your computer's hard drive. We do not upload, sync, or transmit your activity logs, timeline, or categories to Ripple Studios servers.
No Account Required
You do not need to create an account to use Focus. We do not collect names, email addresses, or billing information during this early beta phase.
Application Analytics
Focus may collect optional, anonymous telemetry to understand basic application usage and stability. This telemetry never contains your personal activity history, website URLs, or application names. You can disable this reporting in the Application settings.
3. The Ripple Studios Website
When you visit ripplestudios.app, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records basic, privacy-preserving web analytics. This includes aggregated page views, general geographic region, and referral sources. This data is not tied to your personal identity or your desktop application usage.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on a limited number of services to distribute the software:
- GitHub: Used to host and distribute the Application updates and installers. When you download the application or when the app checks for updates, GitHub may log standard network requests.
- Vercel: Hosts this Website and provides basic web analytics.
5. User Rights & Data Deletion
Because your detailed activity data is stored entirely on your computer, you have complete control over it. You can delete your activity history at any time by uninstalling the application or deleting its local database files from your system.
6. Contact Us
